Pool Safety Systems – A Total Approach
Many consumers do not give much thought to pool safety until they have an accident that involvs a friend or one of their children. Most of us consider pool safety as something you need to do, but we do not always pay as close attention as we should. There are a number of pool safety systems that everyone with a pool needs to take into account which involve protective systems and technology solutions for pools. The first layer of safety around a pool is usually the protective regulation fence with a gate that self locks to ensure that children cannot accidentally enter the property and fall into the pool. Parents are coached in maintaining proper vigilance when their children are around pools. Floating equipment, life jackets and close supervision are required to ensure that the children remain safe around the pool.
There are new systems being introduced on to the pool market, which involve the use of sophisticated technology to provide another layer of safety. Parents cannot always be vigilant and with energetic two year olds running around, sometimes a slip in attention occurs. A pool safety system using a sonar based technology design can provide a warning to the parents if their children or a pet falls into the pool. The sonar system can provide an early protective detection system to warn parents that one of their children has strayed into the pool. These systems can be programmed to give an audible alarm to warn you of a potential emergency before it is too late, and keep children safe.
