Swimming Pool Labels – Plumbing and Safety
After your swimming pool has been installed for a few years, many of the labels that were on the pump or the filter begin to fade, especially if they are exposed to the sun. This makes the operation of your pool more difficult especially when you are switching the filter from one setting to another. New swimming pool labels can be installed very easily on your pump and on your filter as required. With new labels added this way, it is much easier to know which setting to set your filter at. Some customers have been known to set the filter switch position to off and then turn their pump on, with catastrophic effects! With all that pressure and the filter in the off position most of the seals will blow. A properly positioned label can save you a lot of time, money and frustration.
Pool labels are useful in other areas as well. A swimming pool label on the side of the pool indicating the depth of the pool at each position is an excellent safety item to consider. Some people are nervous about swimming and do not want to accidentally end up in the deep end of your pool. Small children can also read the label and avoid getting into a part of the pool that they are not allowed.
Tags on your plumbing can be helpful as well. Some pool installations have a combination of heaters, chlorinators, filters and exhaust piping. Placing tags on each of the pipes with the appropriate labels can help you with any plumbing activity that you undertake and avoid confusing any of the pipes to and from the pool.
