Safety Pool Covers – Easy Opening and Closing
Safety pool covers are the one of the best investments pool owners can make when they purchase a new pool. Not only do they provide a protective cover for your pool, they also assist in reducing water and chemical loss from evaporation. In addition protective pool covers also reduce heat loss at night and act as a solar heater during the day to keep your pool at the desired temperature.
A safety pool cover when it is closed i.e. covering the pool, will keep leaves and other debris out of your pool, making it much easier to keep clean. Consumers can use a simple brush or broom to remove anything that has landed on the cover before it is opened for swimming. The pool cover is safe from little hands accidentally opening or closing the pool cover. A key is required which must be inserted into a lock to open or close the pool cover.
Large pools can lose many gallons of water from evaporation during the hot summer months. With your pool cover in place the evaporation is limited and the water is also heated from the suns hot rays. Consumers can save on water evaporation, chemical depletion from the sun and solar heating instead of using gas heaters to heat the water. The sun will deplete most pool chemicals very quickly so with the safety cover in place, chemicals will last much longer and your water will be kept crystal clear for your swimming use.
Many safety covers come in a choice of colours to match your surroundings and your pool liner. They can be installed in most new pools as well as in existing pools, rectangular pools and free form pools. They are a great feature to add to your pool and the best part is the effortless opening and closing of your pool cover.
