Pool Water Tests – Simple To Do
Many consumers who do not have pools believe that maintaining a pool takes a lot of time and work. The actual reality is far from this with only a few minutes a day required to conduct pool water tests. Whether you use tester strips to test the chemicals of your pools water, or liquid testers, only a few minutes are required a day. Testing the chemicals in your pool is important to maintain the proper balance and to avoid algae growth or too much acid in the pool.
Once you finish your pool water test, you may have to add additional chlorine or other chemicals that will assist in balancing the water and maintain it crystal clear for your swimming pleasure. Testing with tester strips only requires that you place the testers in the water and then read the results. If you test with liquid testers, you will need to add droplets of a solution to a small container that comes with the tester. Match the colour of the liquid to a colour on the side of the tester and you will know what condition your water is in.
Pool and hot tub owners must do some amount of maintenance to keep them clean. Regular maintenance of pools and keeping to a schedule can make the job of keeping them clean a splash. If you forget to use tester strips and add chemicals, algae can grow quickly and then you really do have some work to do. All of this can easily be avoided by following the simple tests that should be completed daily to test the chlorine level and the PH level in your pool.
